Offering the best of both worlds, the Victoria Resort & Spa enjoys a seafront location, conveniently close to the ancient town of Hoi An.
Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa is situated in the charming town of Hoi An that is reminiscent of Vietnam's glorious past. The resort sits along a stretch of white sand beach with one side facing the River Delta and the other facing the sea. It is designed to resemble a small fishing village, with tiny streets and water ponds, small houses with clay-tiled roofs and round Chinese cloth lanterns. Each of the rooms and bungalows combine the elegance of local handicraft with the comfort of an international standard hotel.
The resort has 105 rooms, all of which face either the river or the sea and decorated in Japanese, Classic French or traditional Vietnamese style. 4 Deluxe Beach Front rooms feature a sitting area with sofa, writing table and private balcony with sun chairs that leads directly to the resort's private beach. In addition, the five Victoria Suites have a large bathroom with open air jacuzzi bathtub, large terrace and outdoor shower in a colourful garden.

We booked into our Deluxe Ocean View Room for a 5 night stay late July. The check-in procedure was fairly quick and we were given all the information we needed. Our room was directly on the ocean front. A lovely little balcony to sit and relax in the afternoons (too sunny in the morning). Our room had a super king size bed which was very comfortable, mini bar, coffee machine. You are given 4 bottles of complimentary water each day. We had a huge seating area inside, a separate walk in robe. The bathroom was huge with a spa bath overlooking the outside shower. Loved the outdoor shower, you could stand in there and look out over the ocean.
Breakfast was included and was very well done although on some mornings very noisy and there were so many kids screaming - we chose to sit outside in the peace and quiet.
We attended one of the evenings shows they put on which was very well done.
We were aware of the shuttle into town but chose to catch a taxi. There is also a boat that can take you in - we caught a boat back one day from one of the locals near the market in town (alot cheaper than the hotel).
The pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of staff to assist you with towels etc. Plenty of sun lounges with umbrellas although the hotel wasnt full so not sure about then. The pool was quite warm (understandably) but everyday at 1pm they put "icebergs" into the pool for the children to play with (and the adults to!!). They do offer a kids pool but it is very very small. We swam in the private beach area every day as well.
The hotel has free wi-fi which worked reasonably well most of the time. It is not a secure network though, no code needed.
Overall, loved the hotel, very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were all very friendly and talkative. I would recommend this hotel.
– “Great hotel to relax, very enjoyable”
Efficient staff on arrival, made to feel welcome, the beachfront room was great and the food was excellent although pricey. The cocktail hour was well worth it with a wide range of cocktails available. It is reasonably close to old Hoi An,, with a free shuttle and taxis readily available and cheap.
– “Great resort”
We stayed here 4 nights in a river view upstairs room. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly team of front of house members who checked us in and whilst waiting for check in completion were given ice cold drinks and cold cloths to cool us down. We were given a run down on restaurants, shuttle bus times and given a discount voucher to use in the Spa. The rooms are spacious with a king size bed, couch, tv and writing desk. A full sized balcony with 2 sun lounges too! The bathroom has a shower over the spa tub and very generous vanity space and shelves. A very large bathroom with separate toilet. The grounds are beautifully maintained as is the pool and restaurants/bars. We spent most of our meals other than breakfast at the pool bar which was very reasonably priced. Huge meals. Happy hour is offered in all bars form 6-8pm with 50% off all drinks except bottles or wine. Our waiter Ngoc was lovely. He was friendly, polite, attentive and very professional. Treat yourself to a Spa treatment. I had a facial using my discount voucher which ended up costing around $50 for a 60 min treatment. My beautiful consultant was Fung ( not sure of the correct spelling, I apologize). We will definitely be back. All staff members are friendly and polite. You can't go wrong.
– “Beach front beauty”
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as a treat after a week of backpacking and travelling by scooter through Vietnam.
And what a difference it was! We booked a regular suite but were upgraded to a superior suite with ocean view and private beach and it was amazing!! The suite had a sunken bath/jacuzzi and an outdoor shower...which works really well in the constant heat! The room was beautiful and spacious and our view from the bed in the morning was the ocean. And the A/C was amazing! There's a free shuttle to get in and out of Hoi An old town about 15 mins away. Hoi An is beautiful but very busy and always full of tourists so it was lovely to be able to escape back to our resort on the beach. Definitely recommend a few nights here!
– “Amazing- for a few days of luxury! ”
Fantastic staff, setting, atmosphere and food. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to chill, relax and reflect. We have 3 kids (8, 11 and 13) and all were enjoyed the stay - not an easy feat to achieve :-) Rooms were beautiful (we had 2 interconnecting ground floor rooms) with sea and garden views.
