  • Victoria Can Tho Resort

    Some Key Facts:

    • Location: The Victoria Can Tho is based in the center of the Mekong Delta in South Vietnam, where the gargantuan river ends and empties into the sea.
    • History: The first settlers in this region are believed to have set up camp as early as 4th century BCE.
    • Service: Here at the Victoria Can Tho, the staff strive to give the best possible service and advice, whether it’s sights and sounds guests are after or just a glass of champagne, they will accommodate it all here.

Surrounded by gardens full of vivid flowers, including many indigenous species, the Victoria Can Tho sits right on the banks of the Hau river and is the only luxury resort in the lush heart of Vietnam's Mekong Delta. The colonial-style building has a breezy, open-air lobby and is arranged around a central courtyard with a lovely pool. There are 92 rooms and eight suites, each featuring authentic Vietnamese decor and equipped with a balcony. The hotel's Spices restaurant is helmed by a French chef and overlooks the river; there is also an open-air bar, and a floating restaurant aboard a converted antique rice barge, the Lady Hau, which is open for special occasions. The Victoria has excellent amenities, with wi-fi in all rooms and public places, a fitness center, and an elegant spa with seven treatment rooms.

Wow. Beautiful hotel, incredibly gracious staff, fantastic pool and amenities. After the frantic (but awesome) energy of Saigon, being greeted with fresh juice and a neck/shoulder massage was lovely. Drinks are reasonably priced, especially during happy hour. Wonderful!

“Luxury oasis in the heart of the Mekong Delta”

This is an excellent luxury hotel which looks and feels 5*. The attention to detail is incredible. The rooms are light and airy and very cool and spacious. The restaurant is excellent and you can dine in pride our on the terrace. The pool and surrounding area were smart and there were always loungers free. The staff really made the place feel special. They were attentive and caring and we had a good chat with them at dinner. Perfect position for Mekong Delta and Cai Rang floating market.

    “Excellent luxury hotel”

Really beautiful hotel along perfume river. Service amazing. Bar staff were really interested in our travels and proud of their city. Perfect location, can walk to citadel in around 30 mins but taxi easy enough and a bargain. Pool area was a welcomed relaxation area.

    “Beautiful hotel ”

When you arrive at this grand, elegant resort, you're immediately made to feel special. We were met by the happiest & most entertaining 'bellboy' on the planet. Tha clearly loves his job! This was followed up by a delicious neck and shoulder massage as we were 'checked in'. Amazing! We also loved the gracious elegance of this beautiful hotel and the stunning attention to detail in the room. We would have loved to have stayed longer! Magic. Couldn't fault it.

    “The BEST welcome ! ”

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The welcome was hospitable and included a shoulder massage. I regret not visiting the spa while there, but maybe next time... Our room had good views of the river and the walk to town along the paved riverbank and over the walking bridge was very pleasant. Lots of people out enjoying the evening. There is also a water taxi from the resort but we never used it. The room was nicely fitted out and a good size and had a bowl of fruit when we arrived. The hotel is a nice colonial style and has a relaxing feel to it. The staff are all very friendly.

“Nice resort on the banks of the river”
