  • Dalat Palace

    Some Key Facts:

    • The idyllic lakeside location is reason enough to stay at the Sofitel Dalat Palace, but once inside, things are equally impressive. The elegant Colonial interior is stunningly preserved and the finer touches are everything you'd expect from a Sofitel property.
    • The rooms are all spacious and combine dark woods with some delightful original features. There is an excellent spa and the restaurant and terrace, with its panoramic views of Xuan Huong Lake, are certainly a highlight.

Located in the heart of Dalat, the hotel's lawns run almost all the way to the lakeside and the feeling of Colonial grandeur is evident from the moment you step inside.

I travel a lot, for both biz and personal, and probably stay at more than 200 hotels in the last 10 years, in 20+ countries, from the most luxurious in Europe to some awkward ones in India & US.

This one is the best. It doesnt have modern amenities like AC or fancy shower. What you get to appreciate is the fantastic & elegant deco. From the phone to shower handle, from the light switches to draw, all exhibit the unrivaled luxury that none of the modern hotels can provide. You feel as history reappears, with the best of past time & upmost attention into every little details.

I have stayed at some of the hotels in Europe and India that advertised as hundred years old, but all you have is the skin, the interior is just as typical modern hotel.

Given the hotel only has 40 rooms, I cant figure how they make money and keep it so nice & luxury. However, I hope they dont replace it by other thousand rooms hotel (the hotel itself locates on its own hills, quite large). I would still stay even if they raise price several times, historic & exotic places like this aren't available much nowadays.

“Best hotel I have ever stayed”

We were invited for a house tour by the Operations Manager, Mr. Truong. The latter is very hospitable and we enjoyed the breakfast.
The Hotel is definitely the best for Golf, MICE, business and leisure.
I would definitely recommend to any connoisseurs.
A Place to go! Great job Mr. Truong

    “Great place to stay”

DaLat Palace has a very large and beautiful garden where you can take photos in every corner of it. You can see various kinds of flowers every where, from the garden to the conference room and the dining room, from white orchids to rose, flowers can even be used for decorating the food :)

“A beautiful place to take photos”

We had our room upgraded on arrival lovely old hotel. But we went for drinks an food at palace club the drinks prices were hugely overpriced the cocktails started at 300.000 vdn spirits with mix from 170.000vdn +70,000 soft drink up to 280,000vdn +70,000 then tax an surcharge on top of when at other hotels on our travels a cocktail was around 120,000 so over the top! .Then breakfast was extremely disappointing for a 5star hotel zero choice no bacon we ordered eggs from egg station which took 15 mins to arrive an wasn't what my friend had ordered they don't cook at egg station they send orders to kitchen ?? On a positive note the staff are all very friendly and helpful .if the palace bar was a more reasonable price they might find people would go there as it was we were the only ones in there when we went management should think on that we have been 3 weeks in Veitnam an have never come across drinks so expensive !!

“Beautiful hotel but food and drinks very overpriced”

Very very nice place !!! Good weather all of the year. You can take a photo all around this hotel. near the church you can walk through around 300 meter and walk through night market around 400 meter.

    “fall in love at dalat”
