  • Anantara Hoi An

    Some Key Facts:

    • 93 rooms and suites in split level design with daybed porches.
    • Vietnamese cooking, language, painting and lantern making classes.
    • Swimming pool and children's pool enclosed in a garden courtyard.
    • Five dining options.
    • Boat trips on the Thu Bon River.

Formerly known as the Life Heritage Resort, the Anantara Hoi An is set on the banks of the De Vong River in the French Colonial quarter on the outskirts of Hoi An old town.

This means you get the best of both worlds; it is just a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the UNESCO protected town centre whilst remaining just a short drive from the popular Cua Dai beach. Not sold yet? The resort’s Colonial-style architecture, generously sized rooms, river views, landscaped gardens and peaceful surroundings might sway you. The resort also boasts a fine restaurant and riverside swimming pool whilst the recently renovated spa is certainly amongst the best in Vietnam. Unsurprisingly, this is an extremely popular choice with our guests.

We have just had the most fantastic week here. In contrast to the hussle and bussle of the characterful old town, of which Anantara is within short walking distance, the beautiful and immaculately maintained gardens in its riverside location is ideal for a romantic or family escapist getaway.

The rooms are spacious and well serviced. Rarely have we received such a friendly welcome (everyday not just on arrival) alongside quality of service and attention to detail.

There are lots of little touches that make you feel very special (I won't ruin your surprise by telling you what they are).

Breakfast buffet and dinner in Riverside Restaurant or pool side lunch and cocktails were excellent.

We visited a few of the other beachside hotels but we always grateful to return 'home'.

Thank you to the management (Noel and Christopher) and all the amazing staff for a much needed break.

    “Gosh! What a week!”

Absolutely fantastic stay in a wonderful hotel by the river. Rooms were wonderful, very homely, and lots of nice little touches along the way. Breakfast, in our opinion, was extensive and very nicely prepared. Spoilt for choice. A great place to stay, hugely recommended.

    “Perfect stay in Hoi An”

We return every year - it is our Hoi An home, The staff are exceptional and the gardens beautiful with glorious frangipani trees by the dozen. Rooms spacious and quiet. Breakfast dining area overlooks the river, and the food is superb.

“A place of tranquility, serenity and beauty amongst the busy ness of Hoi An”

Wonderful hotel, very relaxing the food was good and one of our most memorable stays in Vietnam. We met our daughter who was travelling and there was something for everyone including backpackers. We were not hassled in the markets. The hotel is perfect if you want to relax during the day.
