Aman are known for superb attention to detail, and their first hotel in Vietnam, the Amanoi, lives up to our high expectations.
Amanoi, open in September 2013, is located in the stunning conservation area of Vinh Hy Bay, one of Vietnam’s most sought-after coasts. Its contemporary rooms, suites, and villas, are extremely well-appointed, providing not only stunning coastal views, but also modern comforts effortlessly blended with traditional Vietnamese touches to lend the entire resort a strong sense of place amidst luxurious surroundings.
The restaurant, bar, and beach club, serve up some of Vietnam’s finest and freshest foods, along with a tempting selection of cocktails and other refreshments. Guests can spend some time in the resort’s breathtaking spa, in its state-of-the-art-gym, and enjoying a languid swim in its pools and ocean to feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and best of all, totally relaxed. Snorkeling is a crowd favorite in Vinh Hy Bay, and the resort is fully-equipped for those who wish to partake.

The experience in Aman Hotels and Resorts are always great! However this is the top resort I found out so far, in the world! Not only by the extraordinary and wonderful place, with nature, beach and very interesting small fisherman's villages, but by the way Aman constructed the site!
But the true experience is the Amanoi Human Resources! Altogether with the surround environment there is a team very skilled, very attentive and friendly! From the Manager to the gardeners everybody is very helpful, professional and give all their efforts to get the best service to the client.
The food service is amazing, great food and very elaborated menus.
– “Top Hotel!”
You got what you paid for essentially.
- Location: stunning. I still can't believe they were allowed to build a resort in a national park. Normally it means nature destruction, but this Amanoi blends seamlessly into its surrounding. They managed such wonderful efforts in maintaining the pre-existing nature.
- Rooms: Wonderful villas with stunning views.
- Activities: tons of fun free activities: Hobie Cats sailing (MUST TRY), standup paddle board, wellness classes that change every day.
- Staff service: caring and attentive.
- Amenities: wonderful library.
- Breakfast: great, with so many choices.
- Dinner: underwhelming.
- Overuse of golf cart for transportation. IMO the resort should have capitalized on its forest surrounding to encourage guests to walk and enjoy the nature.
In short, it is a premium destination throughout. However, I still have mixed feelings about the resort being in a national park, which honestly I am very much against. I would imagine potential corruption in the local authority that would allow this? Also the resort is not eco-friendly. The managers should really considering turning it into an eco-friendly considering the resort is sitting on top of a national park.
– “Top-class premium experience”
This is the most wonderful place I have ever been. Nice air, beautiful view, peace and private. I hope there are private swimming pool in each villas. The staff is good and the service is great. I will come back many time. I really like this place.
– “Wonderful place!”
This hotel is located in a remote place in Nui Chua national park area, overlooking Vinh Hy bay. The landscapes are gorgeous. Most of villas have nice view on the bay, some have mountain view. Facilities and decoration are luxurious. Villas are far from each other to ensure the absolutely private space for guests. The private beach is small but beautiful with white sand and crystal water. The only inconvenient is that the resort is too large, so it takes time to go around.
– “Luxury and private property in the middle of nowhere ”
We stayed in Amanoi for 4 nights. We got an upgrade an slept in a villa. The view was spectacular. We had the chance of visiting some other rooms, and I have to say, each and one of them, is a masterpiece on its own. I especially like the infinity pool. Bliss!
The service was outstanding. I'm normally not used to this kind of treatment. It was almost too much for me. If you come from a kitetrip in Mui Ne, and have slept more or less on the beach, it's quite a contrast.
The food was really nice: original tastes, think fusion. But the size of the portions could be bigger, in my opinion.
For the last night we had a private dinner organized, not knowing what to expect. Well, that is where the Aman Group steps in: it was the highlight of our stay. The lighting, the setting, the service, the food (!), the drinks... Wonderful experience!
– “Near perfection”
